The Advanced Construction Technology Center (ACTEC)was established in 1989 as a non-profit organization under the guidance of the Ministry of Land, Infrastructure, Transport and Tourism(MLIT) to promote cooperation in the development of advanced construction technology.
ACTEC implements research and development of advanced construction technology and disseminates knowledge acquired to parties who can use it at construction sites.
ACTEC also serves as an interface between the private and public sectors, and between companies in Japan and companies in other countries.
